| Nerves are a bundle of neurons and are spread throughout the body, they for a part of nervous system that connects various organs to the brain. They are mainly responsible ofr communication termed as neuronal transmission. The two main function are to form
1. sensory (afferent) pathways providing inputs from the body to the CNS.
2. motor (efferent) pathways that carry signals to muscles and glands (effectors).
