Microbiology deals with a world inside visible world it encompasses microorganisms that by their actions affect macro ones - us humans and of course and living or non-living organisms. To be precise it includes study of viruses, bacteria, fungi and other microbes, their benefits and their role in diseases like bird flu, herpes and yes even ulcers.
Many diseases that were previously thought to have only behavioral or genetic components have been found to be caused by microbes. example - ulcers, which were long thought to be caused by stress and poor diet. However the causative agent is actually a bacterium.
So in this lesson we have covered microbes and magnified their world through animation, now you can visually understand them. |
